Community Conduct Guidelines

At First Goal Contest (FGC), we believe in fostering a fun, inclusive, and respectful community for hockey fans, local businesses, and everyone who participates in our platform. To ensure this remains a positive space for all, we ask that every user follow our Community Conduct Guidelines.

By participating in the FGC community, you agree to adhere to the following rules. Please also review our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions for additional details about how we operate and protect your information.

1. Respect Everyone in the Community

  • Treat all members—fans, business partners, and platform administrators—with courtesy and respect.
  • Disagreements are natural but should always remain civil and constructive.

2. No Harassment or Hate Speech

  • Harassment, bullying, or targeting anyone based on their gender, race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other personal characteristic will not be tolerated.
  • This includes inappropriate messages, personal attacks, or sharing offensive or harmful content.

3. Keep Language Clean and Professional

  • Avoid using offensive, obscene, or vulgar language on the platform.
  • Content and comments should contribute to a fun and family-friendly environment.

4. No Disruptive Behavior

  • Disruptive actions such as spamming, trolling, or interfering with others’ enjoyment of the platform are prohibited.
  • Repeated violations of these behaviors will lead to disciplinary action.

5. Follow Contest Rules

  • Play fair and abide by the rules outlined in each contest or activity. Any attempt to manipulate or exploit the system (e.g., through cheating, fraud, or bot usage) will result in disqualification and potential account suspension.
  • For more details about contest participation, review our Terms and Conditions.

6. Protect Privacy

  • Do not share personal information about yourself or others in public areas of the platform. This includes addresses, phone numbers, or private correspondence.
  • For information on how we protect your data, refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Report Violations

  • If you witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it to FGC moderators or admins.
  • FGC reserves the right to review, investigate, and take appropriate action for all reported incidents.

Consequences for Violating Community Guidelines

We take violations of our guidelines seriously. Depending on the severity of the violation, the following actions may occur:

  • Warnings: A formal notice to address and correct the behavior.
  • Temporary Suspension: Restriction of access to the platform for a set period of time.
  • Permanent Suspension: For repeated or serious violations, your account may be permanently banned from the FGC platform.

FGC moderators will evaluate each situation individually, and all decisions will be final.
